Included in all three tiers: each package prepares the heirs' civil records, has the Fredha drawn up before the notary, organises the powers of attorney of heirs abroad, calculates the transfer duties and supports the repatriation of movable assets. Only the land registration, the division, European coordination and the pace of follow-up change.

Fredha: the deed of inheritance, drawn up before the notary, lists the heirs and their shares. Without it, no asset can be divided or sold.
Package for one estate. Transfer duties and notarial fees, proportional to the value of the assets, are costed with you before signing.
Without a Fredha, no estate property is legally available. The Fredha identifies the heirs but does not transfer ownership: only the notarized certificate, published with the land registry, transfers the title. If real estate is involved, stopping at the Fredha is never sufficient. M&O Conseil acts as coordinator and support provider. The Fredha, notarized certificate, land registration and distribution deeds are prepared by an independent licensed notary whom M&O mobilizes and coordinates. M&O Conseil does not practice as a notary or lawyer and does not mediate conflicts between heirs. Useful information: movable assets benefit from a customs exemption only during the year following the Fredha, and only once. After that deadline, the exemption is permanently lost.
Please note: an exemption exists in the direct line or for the spouse on the home occupied by the deceased, as well as a 10% reduction per dependent child on the remainder.
It is the deed of inheritance drawn up before the notary. It lists the heirs and their shares, and then allows the assets to be divided or sold.
No. Each heir signs a power of attorney in their country of residence, at the consulate or before a notary.
All heirs are informed when the Fredha is drawn up, and the division requires their agreement. In the event of disagreement, the resolution is a matter for a lawyer, outside this package.
